Import Department Job Description
Managethe import orders of all diferent kinds of machinery spare parts and spinning & weaving machines throughout each specific supplier whether by a price enquiry or a tender.
Negotiatingterms of delivery, payment and shopping for freight quotes.
Enter, process, monitor and coordinate all import shipments, working closely with vendors, ocean carriers / freight forwarders and our customs clearance department oficials.
Keeptrack of all shipments and their location (in transient).
Scheduleand coordinate deliveries.
Maintaina good file flow system for all shipments.
Preparemonthly, weekly, and daily reports.
Placepurchase orders with suppliers.
Processand enter the received purchase orders in the system.
Managethe insurance policies, banking procedures (letter of credit L/C, cash against documents CAD, …ext.) and Send payment authorizations to the bank.
Enter, process, monitor and coordinate all NAFEZA ACI procedures
Allprocedures and transaction are done according to Inco terms 2000.
