KAFD Zone-4 (King Abdullah Financial District city) Riyadh and Jabal Omar Development Project, Phase-2, Zone - S3 & S4: Makkah
A multi billion Riyals development design built currently being developed in the heart of Riyadh, once completed will be the biggest hub for financial activities of the entire Gulf States. Dar Al Riyadh consultancy has been awarded 30 Parcels (Tower buildings of varying heights). This has been divided into Four Zones. Each zone have between 6 to ten Parcels. I am currently looking after Zone 4 which has Ten Parcels. I have been assigned 5 Parcels, which consists of Mix use high rise towers ranging from 21 story to 35 story Towers including One 5 Star Hotel. My role and responsibilities involved:
Review and approval of Shop drawings prepared by Contractor for implementation on Site.
To verify lay-out of buildings according to provided Datum.
On Site supervision to ensure horizontal and vertical alignments with latest instruments for all structural items like slabs, columns, core walls, ramps, beams.
Preparing of weekly and monthly Reports for surveying activities for Client.
Serve as the site person responsible for coordinating the daily site survey works.
Prepare responses to the sub-Contractors when required.
Submit daily report on site survey activities as directed to Project Manager.

1. The Shuaibah Phase-3 IWPP Project (the “Project”) is the first of the IW(P)Ps developed in Saudi Arabia and represents a major development in Saudi Arabia’s water and power sector to help satisfy the increasing national demand for power and water. The Project serves as a template for similar undertakings by Water & Electricity Company (“WEC”). Shuaibah Phase-3 IWPP has been developed by Saudi Malaysian Water Electricity Company (SAMAWEC) which owns 60 % of the Project Company. The project is currently on full production.
2. The Project is based on BOO (Build, Own & Operate) basis under a 20 year PWPA agreement for the design, construction, commissioning, testing, ownership, operation and maintenance of a new 900 MW, light crude oil-fired power and 880, 000 m3/day (194 MIGD) desalination plant and associated facilities based on about 80:20 debt to equity project financing.
3. The Project is located adjacent to the existing SWCC Shoaiba power and desalination complex 110 km south of Jeddah, on the western coast of Saudi Arabia.
4. The project serves the water requirements of Makkah, Jeddah, Taif and Al-Baha cities and the electrical requirement of Western Electricity grid.
Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWTP) at Jubail.
The project calls for expansion of Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant 8 (IWTP 8) at Jubail Industrial City, Phase 3.
The expansion will add 55, 000 cubic metres per day (cm/d). Waste water from Jubail Industrial City is collected through a pipe line network into 220 Lift stations and 58 Pump Stations Industrial

My Responsibility is coordination and supervision of their workers. provide schedules for their workers and assign tasks to construction laborers. coordinated. Supervisors translate blueprints into plans, organizing the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project. I’m also responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards, as well as keeping detailed records of construction site activities.
