• I'm responsible for issuing the page of “Panorama” that deals with science and technology, health, life, medicine and studies. I select the articles from The Scientific American and many other websites, translate and editing them into Arabic to be published.
However, I was also responsible for issuing the page of “World of Wonders” which discusses and gives details of various subjects that abound in this planet.
In addition, I was responsible for translating graphics, political reports, history and civilization, and global literature.
Direct and coordinate activities of translators engaged in translating documents, press releases and other material from English into Arabic and vice versa.
Assign projects to translators.
Review and proofread their work.
Prepare a budget for the department and determines the allocation of funds.
Interview and selects personnel for staff positions.
Supervise local staff and international freelance translators.
Supervising administrative support workers, such as office clerks and secretaries, and coordinate administrative support activities.
Conducting standard clerical tasks, including answering telephones, distributing mail, sending out mail, directing phone calls, typing and dictating.
Organizing and supervising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the office.
Organizing the requirements of the Editor Chief-General Manager's office.
Writing reports to the Chief Editor and General Manager
Making interviews with applicants.
Controlling correspondences.
Providing office management services to the heads of editing departments.
Providing a presentation about the newspaper paperless system for the newspaper’s V.I.P visitors and other guests.
Organizing conferences held by the newspaper.

• In addition, I was responsible for translating graphics, political reports, history and civilization, and global literature.

• Research legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Teaching TOEFL and ILETS.
• Responsible for translating issued booklets of Baghdad International Fair
• Assist PR team so that the event runs smoothly and meets prescribed goals.
• Assist journalists to arrange interviews with well known figures.
• Oversee various activities related to the conference sponsored, including:
• Gather background information regarding possible participants; help in the selection and confirmation of presenters and participants
• Handle conference publicity and arrange conference logistics
• Oversee post-conference publications
• Identify topics of interest for conferences, lecture series, special speakers in education and organize regular events.
• Organize and promote conferences.
• Translate all documents related to oil pipeline
• Deputize the manager, make decisions and delegate work to others in the manager's absence.
• Devise and maintain office systems, including data management and filing;
• Arrange travel and accommodation and provide general assistance during presentations to take notes or dictation at meetings.
• Screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handle them when appropriate.
• Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority.
• Organize and maintain diaries and making appointments.
• Deal with incoming email, faxes and post, often correspond on behalf of their manager.
• Take dictation and minutes.
