Hardware Designing & Implementation for Specialized Control Systems including DCS, SIS & FGS with expertise in Allen Bradley, Yokogawa & Honeywell Systems.
Related experience in Wellhead Facilities including Wellhead Control Panels, Skids, and Solar Systems will be an advantage
Well Aware of/Have a Conceptual Understanding of Major Industrial Standards being Followed
Understanding of Major Instrumentation being Used and Clarity on the Working Principle
Understands/is Able to gather required Information from Customer Specifications (including Functional Requirement Specifications, P&IDs, C&Es, Drawings, Narratives, Philosophies, etc.)
Have carried out System Testing & FAT
Have been involved in Site Works including Installations Supervision, Commissioning & Startups Activities
Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and
excellence.
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these
capabilities for the organization
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings.
• Monitor staff performance and complete performance review.
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
• Support formal/informal schedules to manage the engagement contract.
• Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services.
• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor
relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various
audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders.
Industrial Process Solutions is an Automation and Control Company, provides Solutions for industrial Automation and System integration. Prime distributors of HollySys DCS and Kinco Automation brands. Currently I am working as an Team Lead Automation at Industrial Process Solutions (IPS), Lahore. IPS provides instrumentation and automation services for the industry all over Pakistan.
As Team Lead Automation my job duties are
▪ Provide the services to clients for designing and commissioning of DCS, PLC and SCADA systems
or to troubleshooting the existing system problems
▪ Provide the consultancy to client for projects and visiting sites area
▪ Developing of ladder/FBD logic or scripting as per control process
▪ HMI/SCADA Designing as per P&ID diagram.
▪ Making Topologies
▪ Application Development: PLC Coding, HMI development, SCADA configurations.
▪ Complete Panel Design, Heat and Load Calculations etc.
▪ Supervising the Panel Manufacturing, Panel Testing and FAT.
▪ BOQ Finalization
▪ Material Submittals/Approvals: Clause by Clause Compliance of proposed material
▪ against Client Specifications, international standards, and automation
▪ best practices.
▪ Communication with Vendors/Suppliers. Selection of materials, extracting the test certificates,
test reports
▪ Development of Design & other Documents: FRS, DDS (Detailed Design), FAT, SAT,
▪ O&M Manuals etc.
▪ Design Drawings: System Architectures, Functional Logic Diagrams, Cause and
▪ Effects, Panel drawings, Layout drawings etc.
▪ Pre-FAT, FAT, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Closing.
▪ Client Kick-Off Meetings, Internal Coordination etc.
▪ Calibration and testing of field instruments
▪ Presentations of project topology to clients or Engineering team
