• Assist in the operations and monitoring of the CCTV systems and take appropriate action in respect of servicing and rectification of faults if required
• Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics
• Conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventative measures
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
• When a workplace accident occurs, conducts an investigation to determine why the accident happened
• Assist in emergency management and contingency planning
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures
• Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches
• Assist site supervisor as per site requirement.

• Assist management in the implementation of the Company Health and Safety policies.
• Establish and monitor programs for detecting and correcting hazardous conditions.
• Participate as required in investigations of accidents, near misses and hazardous conditions and prepare reports and recommend
actions to prevent recurrence.
• Disseminate information on safety to all departments to alert them on specific hazards and to promote safety awareness.
• Carry out surveys and inspections.
• Arrange Safety, Health and Environment training courses as and when required.
• Co-ordinate the development of emergency exercises and assist in running them.

• Control process start-up, shut-down and troubleshooting.
• Monitor outside process equipment.
• Adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment.
• Authorize or co-sign maintenance work orders.
• Shut down, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment
for maintenance.
• Sample products and record data.
• Develop operator procedures for normal operation, start-up or shut-down of unit.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
