1. Engaged in a valuation project for a construction company, and was responsible for gathering the market data for the construction & infrastructure industry and choosing the appropriate and fair comparable for the company valuation, and concluding with its reflection on the valuation model.

2. Worked as a member of the team for a valuation project for a leading company within the food industry in the MENA region.

3. Conducted a market research report for the real estate industry in the MENA region for a company that wanted to raise capital through rights issued to its shareholders.

4. Collaborated with the Audit team in providing audit services by performing two impairment tests for the audit purposes, for both a leading Investment company and a leading petrochemical company in Kuwait.

5. Worked with the Tax Audit team to audit an international Oil & Gas company, and Construction Companies, and represented the client’s side in the inspection meeting with the Department of Inspection & Tax in Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance.

6. Performed the Zakat & NLST (Tax) calculation, and reported the declaration to Kuwait’s Ministry of Finance, and represented the client in the inspection of the tax declaration.

Completion of the program required a thesis. Business Valuation in M&A Transaction was a very attractive topic at that time, due to that my thesis concentrated on the financial side of the M&A. As an employee at Zain Telecommunication Co. it was an attractive opportunity to utilize this advantage and onboard a live case to the thesis as to support the purpose of the thesis. Zain Telecommunication Co., received an offer by Etisalat in 2010 to acquire African Operation, the thesis discussed the offer and M&A methodologies whether they result in a fair proposal value or not .
