Key Result Areas:
•Responsible for various duties including but not limited to the operational integrity, maintenance, installation/removal of electrical equipment’s. Repair and documentation of the entire electrical system and equipment comprising all automation and refrigeration and air conditioning system.
•Taking inventory of spares and stores and ordering required materials to keep stock level up to date as per CMMS.
•Ensuring the vessel/site carries adequate stock of consumable stores and spares with respect to maintenance, repair and consistent with owners requirement by taking regular inventory.
•In charge of start, synchronize and put HV/LV generators on switchboard and offload from switch board as per operational requirement through power management system and manual mode.
•Carrying out maintenance of different machinery according to company’s planned maintenance system (CMMS) to avoid break down of the machinery. Instrumental in ascertaining “Zero Time Loss” by maintain ships machinery at optimum performance levels.
•Fault finding on different types of starters like, DOL, Auto transformer, star-delta, Reversible, VFD control and soft starters etc.
•Overhauling of motors, alternators, transformers, circuit breakers, contactors etc.
•Fault finding on Cranes (Electro hydraulic and complete electrical controls)
