Key Responsibilities:
• To achieve the digitalization of DEWA water network infrastructures and utilization of the latest smart technologies I have been contributing in numerous of DEWA projects, from tender preparation, design discussion through the close follow up of project implementation and to the user acceptance tests, monitoring all project deliverables including timing, scope and budget.
• End to end management of all parts of new SCADA Projects, including review and preparation of tender specifications, project design documents, tender evaluations, commissioning activities, representing DEWA in meetings with venders and attending Factory and Site Acceptance Test (FAT& SAT) activities.
• Utilize technical expertise to lead on the implementation and commissioning of new Stations in Water SCADA System (Pumping stations, Reservoirs, Desalination stations, …etc.); serve as trusted advisor to database team by developing necessary tools to lead on the automation of the integration process.
• Supervise activities related to installation and commissioning of system upgrades and fix packs to ensure reliability and availability of the SCADA system.
• Daily monitoring of the system performance and availability
• Perform system administration duties, database management and users privileges management.
• Mitigate any risks to projects by performing troubleshooting of all communication channels issues between RTUs and Water SCADA master station.
• Maintain the data exchange between the HMS and SCADA system and perform regular updates of the OPC Gateway.
• Manage data exchange between smart metering system (AMI) and the SCADA.
• Provide reports relating to the SCADA system healthiness and field process data quality.
• Front End servers configuration to connect new Remote Terminal Units with various communication types.
Key Responsibilities:
• Held full accountability for all activities related to data engineering, real time and Historical data monitoring to ensure reliability and availability of Master Station SCADA System
• Direct management of data exchanges across SCADA system, hydraulic modelling GIS and SAP systems
• Collated, analyzed and interpreted data to produce a variety of reports with the aim of monitoring SCADA system and field process values data
Key Responsibilities:
• End to end management of implementing, commissioning and performing point to point testing of substations in the SCADA systems
• HMI Design and Tele-Control interfacing (TCI) for power control, monitoring, data collection and supervising operations of electrical utilitys Generation and Transmission network
• Oversaw the administration of UNIX SUN Solaris 8 and LINUX Red Hat Enterprise
