Responsible for analyzing traffic demand and transport capacity of public transport systems in urban and sub-urban area of Dhaka. Assist the team leader in ensuring the integrated planning of urban transport and land use. Plan and propose integration plan with existing and planned public transportation system. Review RSTP Traffic Analysis Zone (TAZ) and developed new TAZ Zone transport network using ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and ArcGIS Desktop 10.8. Develop generic models in MS Excel for internal and external integration facilities. Assist to develop Travel Demand Modeling using TranCAD, and Aimsun software. Review Traffic Acts and Rules and propose parking, bus bay, drop-off pick-up areas, service lanes, bicycle lanes, footpaths, pedestrian crossing & signaling following the standards,
Responsible for report to Traffic Integration Expert, assist Traffic Integration Expert to analyzing traffic demand and transport capacity of public transport systems in urban and sub-urban area of Dhaka. Accomplishing survey and data input of all physical feature for land use inventory, Preparation of relational database on transit-oriented development (TOD). Assist Train Operation Expert in collecting necessary data and analysis surveys datum. Plan and propose Purbachal Bus Services and develop five bus route and 76 bus stoppage for Purbachal and Jalshi Abashon Area, and Forecast the demand of bus passengers for all individual stations of the above line, Developed cross Section map, Transit facilities map, conceptual layout map of all station.
Develop plans and recommend policies for managing land use, physical facilities, and associated services for urban and rural areas. Work on environmental conservation, restraint of urban sprawl, minimization of transport costs, prevention of land use conflicts, and a reduction in exposure to pollutants. Responsible for accomplishing survey and data input of all physical feature for land use inventory. Preparation of relational database on transit-oriented development (TOD). Supervise physical feature survey, GPS survey, data processing and all other digital map production. Assess the relevant land use plans and other related plans and advise the team regarding their implications to the updated RSTP. Collect all basic information regarding plan preparation and preparation of reports.
Preparation of research proposals related to the master’s thesis. Promote the library and its services to the students, etc. Assist to organize different event of Master Program Infrastructure Planning,
Survey co-ordination, developing statistical techniques, issues, sampling techniques, processes, execute statistical operation, organize & analyses samples, questionnaire develop. Conduct all works related to GIS mapping, preparation of rational database, data processing and analysis in preparation of structure plan, urban area plan and ward action plan. Preparation of reports on different stages of the project. Identifying required basic statistics and collection of information regarding housing, industrial production and employment, public services and utilities, commercial activities, transportation facilities etc. Collect GIS base field information with the coordination of Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader. Consultation with Stakeholders (Local People, People’s Representative, NGOs, and Govt. Agencies) regarding planned development focusing sustainable environment for the area. Database design and analysis using SPSS for socio-economic data. Assist in preparation of different reports for the project.
