Duties and Responsibilities
Primary tasks included reviewing construction plans, specifications, encroachment permits and other documents that affect projects. Also conducted on-site inspections of construction materials, grade elevations, underground facilities, safety precautions, and other items related to constructing buildings, bridges, etc.
Assisted the lead inspector with field measurements, coordination of materials, ensuring that all safety standards are met, and maintaining a daily diary and field records of material and quantities used.
• Responsible for the Supervision of field quality control activities and shall coordinate
project quality control efforts to ensure the project and standard specification are obtained.
• Review inspection/test procedures for each category of work prepared by the
Client/Engineer.
• Responsible for the Implementation of QA/QC as per specified In the Plans and Specification.
• Coordinate with Laboratory Manager concerning all the quality matters obtained during operation
and material testing on aggregates, soil, concrete and asphalt to be use for construction.
• Perform regular internal calibrations, equipment calibration and maintenance, and all other aspects
of the quality system as and when required(MRDTM, ASTM).
• Increase the workability of Asphalt, Concrete and Crushing Plants with care of requirements of
materials.
• Responsible for Mix Designing of Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregates.
• Materials testing performed(ON THESE STANDARES, ASTM, ASSHTTO, MRDTM).
Inspected construction of culverts, walls, structures, storm drains, sewers and other pipeline installations, including backfill and flooding.
