Responsible to handle a full independent pharmacy:
Handling prescriptions & dispensing to patients
Checking accurate drugs are dispensed to patients
Counselling patients according to the respective medications for the effects and side effects.
Checking and monitoring possible interactions of drugs
Proper handling of cash with meeting daily and monthly targets set by upper management.
Maintaining inventory control system and keeping items up to date according to the needs of pharmacy and expiry
Making sure that environment of the pharmacy is clean & tidy all the time and temperatures are maintained accurately throughout the day
Worked as an Independent Contractor (as per needed basis or weekends) for a Medical Transcription Firm based in UK. In this tenure I was Managing Medical and Medico-Legal Transcriptions.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Leading the team and managing work by assuring the Quality of final transcripts:
• Controlling & Implementing Quality Criteria for my team
• Assessment of team on an as needed basis
• Educating team on a regular basis through regular feedback.
Dispensing prescription medicines to the patients
Checking dosage and ensuring medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labeled
Maintaining a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposes
Liaising with doctors about prescriptions and possible errors and their correction
Counseling and advising patients of any adverse effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines
Managing, supervising and training pharmacy support staff on as per needed basis.
While on this position, I was able to manage Medical Transcription records on an as needed basis. I had been
doing mainly:
Surgical reports - History & Physical - Discharge Summaries - Consultations - Follow-ups
A few months it was done manually, but later on it was transferred to EMDAT which is an online platform to perform transcription tasks.
-Managing Hospital Transcription Records and checking quality of final reports.
-Utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients to get feedback and its implementation.
-Instructing and teaching team members to enhance their skills leading to enhanced quality in reports

Responsibility was given me to transcribe the Acute Care Transcription Records that include the following: Neurosurgery (Adult & Pediatrics) - Neurology - Sleep Study - Foot Surgery - OB/GYN - General Surgery - Discharge Summaries - Clinic notes.
During this internship I was taught about different scenarios of medical transcription industries including all things necessary to be a medical transcriptionist.
This was a Pharm-D Degree (Doctor of Pharmacy) with Marketing & Management, and I successfully completed this in December 2010. I am also a Licensed Pharmacist from Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) for 5 years starting from 2011.
This was my Intermediate Study which include the above mentioned Majors. I completed this 64% marks.
