Responsibilities Performed:-
Initiation & Execution -
•Overall Project & Construction Management from initiation till closing and handover of the project including planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing of the projects related to Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals, Industrial Plants, Infrastructures and Heavy Steel Structures etc.
•Project Management involving Detailed Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Shop Fabrication, Site erection, QA/QC, Testing & Commissioning
•Preparation & Review of Tender (Technical & Commercial) Proposals in accordance with Project Technical & Commercial Specifications.
•Contract review with Clients/Consultants to cover the Technical, Commercial and Financial terms and conditions during the start and course of the complete project.
•Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Communication, procurement and stakeholder’s engagement.
•Develop Project Charter mentioning the Key Project Details and explain to the core project team.
•Develop a detailed WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), Project Plan and Project scheduling with workshop fabrication and site erection team including material availability, manpower, machinery, equipment, fit-up, welding, grinding, painting etc. in order to meet the contractual delivery requirements.
•Review of basic design in accordance with the “Technical Data Sheets” before submission to the Client/Consultant.
•Manage & oversee preparation of all project documentation and timely submission to the Client & Consultant.
•Monitor & Follow up with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing & Quality department for Job advancement and timely delivery on continuous basis.
•Manage & ensure proper communication among internal project team and with other stakeholders as well.
•Coordinate with other project disciplines like civil, electrical, instrumentation to resolve all interface issues.
•Monitor and track project progress & Project Performance in accordance with project plan.
•Evaluation of Pre-qualification Documents & selection of various sub-contractors & vendors related to the project e.g Material Supplier, Painting, Galvanizing, Scaffolding, Insulation and other outsource services.
•Obtain the Consultant’s and/or the Client’s approval for the selected Sub Contractors, vendors.
•Manage & ensure compliance with Project QA/QC & EHS requirements.
•Conduct internal meeting with Project Team to review the daily progress and resolution of internal project issues in order to smooth running of the project.
•Monitor and manage the project cost implications & change of scope during the project & negotiation with client/consultant for their approval and Receiving the technical clarification from clients & consultants regarding the drawings & other technical aspects.
•Ensure Submission of Weekly/Monthly Project Progress reports and resolution of constraints during Project meetings.
•Manage & coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
•Engagement with the client, consultant and all other stakeholders.
•Liaison with Government department e.g Civil Defense for project related submission and approvals
•Preparation of Lessons Learnt Documents during the phase of project.
•Submission of Final Project Documents to Client/Consultant.
•Preparation of Project Close out Report and Submit to Top Management.
•Participate in Risk Management Process with Top Management & Other Stakeholders.
•Ensure that all Punch List Items are addressed and closed out and accepted by the Client/Consultant.
•Follow up with Client/Consultant for issuance of “Completion Certificates”.
•Support to Finance Department -
•Preparation of Cash Flow Plan & Payment plan in coordination with finance department and submit to the Client and Consultant for approval
•Support to Finance department in ensuring timely invoicing and collection of all due payments.
•Follow up with Client for Invoice Approval & “Payment Certificate” issuance
•Provide support in the contractual close out of each Project in areas such as, e.g., refund / extension of guarantees, payment / collection of outstanding invoices, issuance of Acceptance Certificates, Mechanical Completion, etc.
•Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis in coordination with Top Management.
•Review and approve of the invoices of sub-contractors, vendors as per progress.
