Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization, including software applications, IT Infrastructure, Network, and end-user computers.
• Resolve incidents or problems (irrespective of priority) that cause service impact and acts as escalation point for incidents not being resolved in a timely manner.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for all areas of information technology to assure data accuracy, security, legal and regulatory compliance; assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Managing IBM Document Manager, creating workflow, item types, attributes, etc.
• Provides leadership and supervision to the 25+ members of the IT Service Desk team, ensuring that appropriate skilled resources are in place to meet required service levels.
• Ensure that incidents and requests are handled according to agreed procedures and ensure that documentation of the supported components is available and in an appropriate form for those providing support.
• Ensure security of information technology assets, data, network access, and backup systems and supervise agreed audits to verify the security of internal and external systems

• Responsible for capacity planning based on the utilization; involved in planning and taking major decisions

• Handling management of SONUS Gateway - 1000UX and Configuration of Polycom CX300 & CX600 phones
• Imparted training to IT service Desk and service transition to IT Service Desk
• Applying OS and application patches & upgrades on a regular basis and upgrading administrative tools & utilities; configuring / adding new services, as necessary
• Maintaining data center environment and monitoring equipment
• Carrying out ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization, as required
• Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources
• Managing and implementing group policies
• Manages the performance objectives and professional development of the Service Desk team including the initiation, monitoring, review and validation of individual training and development plans in line with organizational and business requirements.

•Responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft Solutions like Windows 2000/2003, Active Directory, Exchange server 5.5/2000/2003, ISA Server, IIS Server, Symantec/MacAfee/Trend Micro.
•Responsible for Planning/designing and implementation of Cisco Network Products like Switch/Router and PIX Firewall.
•Planning Designing and implementation of the LAN/WLAN Networks.
