USAT is a US based company dealing in phone calling cards. We have an in-house IT team which consists of three developers, one DBA, a graphic designer, and desktop support personnel. Our company has two ERP solutions which are developed in ASP.net/VB.net on front end and Oracle 10g on back end, one ecommerce solution developed in cold fusion as front end and SQL Server as back end and few other sites which are developed in PHP, MySQL. We are exchanging data with other 6 companies using various web services and APIs.
Job Responsibilities includes maintaining the following features
This site has more than 100 ASP.net Pages, and Oracle 10g database has more then 400 tables and the size of the database is about 410 GB.
* Create invoices, credit memos; exporting invoices to QuickBooks using QuickBooks Remote Data Sharing client, and QuickBooks API.
* Imports phone cards details from our service provider's website using web services.
* Importing LIVE STATUS from all calls from our service provider's web service.
* Activate and de-activate cards LIVE on our service provider's site.
* Print FedEx shipping labels over the Internet in our US office, using FedEx Shipping Manager API, tracking shipped packages, and sending emails to the sales person as the package is delivered.
* Live status bars showing companies inventory levels in different colors, and alerting sales on low inventory levels.
* Windows Application in VB.net to track illegal use of phone card; alert concerned person immediately as the card is used.
* Customer home to check all information of any given customer.
* Role based access to web site and can be customized to function level i.e. one user with same role may have access to a function but another user with same role may not have access to the same function.
* Whole admin system to manage users and site resources.
* Experienced in Normalized Database Design and Modeling. (Logical and Physical design of database.
* Extensive experience with designing and implementing Oracle database. Including system architect, project management, data warehouse design, implementation and tuning.
* Developed Crystal Reports to run in a .NET and Crystal Report Viewer environment
* Very high level of PL/SQL programming, Database Triggers. Stored Package & Procedure, Views, Sequences etc.
* Install, set-up, and monitor Network (LAN/WAN), IIS and TCP/IP. Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN performance and to meet user requirements.
* Monitor web traffic, emails, transactions and other TCP / IP based applications. Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
* Developed Multiple Databases and Application Software.
* Create Scheduled Jobs for sending email daily, weekly, monthly to invoice Audit team for overdue payments.
