Dutiesand Responsibilities
➢Managing & supervising activities on shop floor related to Quality, Food Safety & Health & Safety.
➢Resolving all Quality & Food Safety and Health & Safety related issues across the supply chain.
➢Implementing various management systems which include HACCP, Qatar Baladiya Food Code, GFSI schemes (FSSC 22000, BRC, Global GAP), Food Defense, Al fardan QMS, Qatar Industrial Health & Safety Standards at manufacturing site and QSR chains
➢Managing and Implementing supplier and/or customer auditing schemes
➢Assessing the performance of the quality & food safety system by internal audits and reporting its effectiveness to management with proposed actions for improvement.
➢Addressing Consumer Complaints followed by its RCA and preparing CAPA for any non-conformance.
➢Conducting new product developments, trials and analysis.
➢Developing and establishing specific SOPs, tools and training materials for quality & food safety.
➢Conducting awareness sessions and training to improve QA&HSE culture across the supply chain.
➢Driving continuous improvement by implementation of GMP, 5S, Kaizen in the factory for efficient and safe working environment.
➢Implementing integrated pest management (IPM) in factory and distribution centers across Qatar.
Duties and Responsibilities
➢Supervise the team of 4 Quality Inspectors and 10 labors
➢Ensure all operations are executed as per the HACCP, FSMS, FSSC 22000, QMS, BRC GMP and deviations if any to be recorded and communicated with all concerned
➢Liaising with government bodies for obtaining certification and product/approvals & ensuring compliance of quality measures & good manufacturing practice thereby maintaining standards as per the 'International quality requirement'
➢Adhering to quality assurance with quality standards of ISO 9001/22000 & maintaining requisite documents ensuring complete-quality control & continual improvement in processes
➢Allocate and delegate responsibilities to QC inspectors to cover the overall quality aspects throughout the day
➢Monitoring online checklists and CCP records and being vigilant against any CCP deviations
➢Compiling NCRs for the day and formulating a Plan of Action for necessary corrective actions
➢Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system to achieve KPIs
➢Involved in periodic training of all production crew on food safety norms and guidelines, HACCP, quality and safety systems and product specifications based on customer requirements.
➢Conduct Supplier Audits in UAE against FSMS
➢Handling customer complaints; participate in addressing corrective and preventative actions including conducting root cause analysis
➢Part of the FSMS team facing customer audits, third party audits; evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
➢Collect and compile statistical quality data
➢Liaise with Marketing and Sales team to develop new products, running trials and product launches
➢Conducting FSMS internal Audit in the facility and communicating audit findings with CAPA plan to concerned departments.
