I am working as a “Project Manager” from February 2018 to till date in I-Bridge Engineering consultancy Abu Dhabi, UAE on multiple projects building projects. My main responsibilities/duties included but not limited to, the following:
My main duties include
• Detail design review and preparation of the contract documents.
• Check Pre-Mobilization start up activities and permit the contractor to start work on site.
• Project planning assistance -Discussion with contractors and clients to assist them in planning.
• Managing coordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work.
• Produces and monitors financial reports, including entry and maintenance of all actual time and expense against the master plan.
• Meeting with clients about the project requirements and recommendation of the services in the benefit of the project and explaining the advantages and dis-advantages of the services providing and continuity from inception to the completion of the project.
• Playing a significant role in Managing and leading the project team.
• Checking/Reviewing material and technical submittal in accordance to the Authorities Rules and Regulations.
• Venders, sub-contractors selection and approval of the source and materials.
• Making a weekly meeting with clients and contractors for scheduling the projects in logical steps by evaluating construction methods and timelines provided and determining cost-effectiveness, budget and time required to meet deadlines.
• Manage site staff as per requirement and ensure the availability and timing of the staff.
• Co-ordination and meeting with head office, team, i.e. Design engineer, MEP manager and Estidama ICA and PQP.
• Oversee working of all engineering personnel and inspect all materials and assist to resolve all construction process and recommend improvement to all construction activities and ensure compliance to specifications and construction schedule.
• Overview the MEP activity and follow up with the site MEP team to MEP work regularly.
Pioneer Engineering Consultant (Consultant, Designers and Planners) Abu Dhabi UAE.
I was working as a “Project Engineer- Civil” in Pioneer Engineering consultant.
My main duties include;
• Pre-checking of the detail drawings MEP and civil Structure and architectural before issuing to the contractor for construction.
• Supervise all activities of the project and ensure compliance to all plans and specifications and identify all errors in plans and ensure optimal working of construction personnel.
• Manage and maintain accurate field notes and maintain flow of technical information and prepare comprehensive assessment reports for all work and associated equipment.
• Sampling & Testing’s soils or materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel. ( Field Testing And Lab Testing Both) i.e. Field Dry Density, compaction Test Consolidation Test, Nature of soil, Slump test, Workability W/C Ratio And Lab Test Lab Dry Density for proctor calculation and cube testing steel testing etc.
• Daily Investigation and Reports (NCR, Site instruction Material checking Etc.)
• Check Materials & Resources forecasting and procurement process. Site management including but not limited to Health, Safety, Security and Environment.
• Checking and supervising the ongoing constructional activities (roads, bridges & buildings works and services) at site like setting out, excavation, formwork, laying of rebar, foundation’s concrete, columns’ alignment & pouring, roof slab etc.
• Acceptance of the work, Commissioning of the system and resolving of the final account
• Payment review of the all services other than resident site staff, on the basis of the retainer per month or on the basis of the percentage of the cost of the work.
• Daily Update to the Managements and Project Manger
