Country EHS Officer: (Jan: 13 to Date):

 Ensure effective implementation of EHS Policy, EHS Procedures, EHS Standards & Guidelines issued by Siemens AG.
 Strategizing, leading and coordinating of all activities focused on the achievement of Zero harm to personnel, company property and Environment resulting from operational activities.
 Ensure effective implementation of “Lead County Safety Plan” at Siemens Pakistan Project Sites.
 Monitor EHS KPI’s, analyze results and trends, and report EHS performance to CEO.
 Drive the development of EHS awareness, knowledge and skills within the organization.
 Led, conducted and coordinated regular EHS internal & external audits for Project sites & Production Units.
 Provide expert advice and support on EHS issues to Site Management

Deputy Manager EHS: (Oct: 10 to Dec: 12)

 Formation of corporate EHS Procedures, Work Instructions, guidelines and ensure effective implementation.
 Design and develop EHS Contractor Management System guidelines for Project Sites.
 Identification and assessment of EHS Hazards associated with operational activities with the help of “Layer of protection analysis method, what if analysis, HAZOP studies and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) for the evaluation of quantitative effect of random failure of Safety instrumented function of electrically operated machines”.
 Monitoring and communication of local EHS legislation/statutory requirements, and ensure subsequent compliance.
 Propose EHS annual Targets & Objectives, and monitor action plan implementation and progress.
 Verify compliance to the company EHS requirements and existing local legislation, at all Project sites and Head office).
 Conducted safety trainings e.g., Process Safety & Risk Management, Incident Investigation & Reporting, Behavioral Safety Improvement, Fire Fighting and Rescue Squad Training, Work Permit, Behavioral Safety and Audit Techniques.

 Support accident investigation by line managers and make sure all accidents are investigated, closed out, and suitably communicated.
 Benchmarking & communication of internal & external best practices.
