• Ensuring events progress seamless by following established procedures, collaborating with other associates from property departments
• Acting as a liaison between field sales person and customer through the event process (Pre-event, Event, Post-Event phases)
• Assists in the sales process and revenue forecasting for customer groups

• Communicating with staff over client requests
• Conducting inspection and booking of event spaces
• Responsible for Event Satisfaction Survey
• Interacting with hotel staff and providing guidance so as to achieve work consistency
• Setting up meeting with clients and giving them a tour of event sites
• Maintaining rapport with the local vendors, event management companies to be able to become one point of contact for the guests
• Accredited with Marriott International for In the Beginning, Essential Skills of Supervisors and Managers, Event Planning Certification, Green Meetings Certification, and Wedding Planner Certification
