He was tasked with overarching responsibility to deliver more than seven concurrent projects from airfield facilities to major utility distribution lines, central utility plants and various other ancillary facilities. Identify and capitalize on value engineering opportunities to achieve cost savings, expedite construction activities, and improve quality.

Establish and implement package construction logistics.

Facilitate coordination with the other 12 multidisciplinary packages and identify key interfaces.

Project:

The Project is comprised of a New Terminal, Two Concourses, related Airfield and Infrastructure Facilities with a total built up area of 1 million square meters increasing the annual passenger capacity, upon completion, from 20 to 60 million passengers. The Finishing and MEP work package consisted of the execution of the finishing and electromechanical works for the new Terminal 3, Concourse 2 and Car Park. (Cost: 1.4 Billion USD).

Project Engineer

Responsible for the planning, monitoring and controlling of project activities with proper resource distribution, supervising site erection teams through assuring the proper execution of shop drawings, managing and monitoring subcontractors, coordinating with different project parties, attending to onsite challenges, and developing proper reporting tools to facilitate communication of information and improve turn around times.

Projects:

PANDA Mall, Riyadh, KSA. The project comprised of the construction of the PANDA Mall with the necessary infrastructure systems, parking areas, storage areas, and the shopping center. The 115, 000 m2 project consists of 2 parking levels, 3 storage areas, and the shopping center.

Connex Building, Bucharest, Romania. The project comprised of the construction of the Connex office building that consists of 3 parking levels, and 15 office levels. Structural steel members were used in the building main frame while the flooring and secondary structural members were composite systems (HAMBRO) with a combination of open web steel joists and cast in-situ concrete slabs.

Villagio Complex, Doha, Qatar. The project comprised of the construction of the Villagio complex that consists of a shopping mall, 3 warehouses, and 12 residential compounds with recreational facilities. The 225, 000 m2 complex required the construction of the necessary infrastructure systems including a 12 km roadway connecting the different sectors.

Planning & Design Engineer

Responsibilities & Projects:

Four Seasons Hotel, Damascus, Syria:
The project is comprised of the 27 floor 5 stars hotel. A master program for the whole structure and detailed plans for each and every floor were developed using Primavera Project Planner. The primary responsibility was for the planning, monitoring and controlling of project activities.


The University of Balamand expansion road, Tripoli, Lebanon:
The project is comprised of the design of the 15 km perimeter road around the campus. The design included the geometric and asphalt mix in addition to the drainage, sewerage and lighting systems. The primary responsibility was for the geometric and asphalt mix designs for roadways, design of water supply, sewerage and drainage systems.

Al Barka Water Supply Network, Muscat, Oman:
The project is comprised of the evaluation and assessment of the existing system and the design and development of a new system integrating into the existing infrastructure. The scope of work included the design of piping& pumping requirements and holding reservoirs.
