Administrative Duties:
Enter patient information into a computer database. Processing, editing, saving and printing x-ray picture and information of the patients. Inventory monitoring. Writing the supplies in the inventory sheets, ordering and compiling inventory reports. Answering telephone.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Worked chair side assisting Orthodontist, Prosthodontics and General Practitioner.
• Gained experience in exposing and processing X-rays; pouring impressions, trimming models and preparing orthodontic equipment; assisting with bonding and debonding of braces, preparation and cementation of veneers, extractions, scaling, fillings, local anesthesia, suture placements/removals and root canal treatments.
Administrative Duties:
Writing and filing patient’s condition. Collect medical information from a patient and place this information within the patient's medical file. Writing doctor’s order for medication and treatment regimen. Calling doctors for emergency treatments. Doing PowerPoint presentations for patients health education. Inventory monitoring. Printing off inventory sheets, ordering inventory and compiling inventory reports. Maintaining and filing medical records of the patients. Answering telephones and making appointments for the physician(s). Scheduling diagnostic tests, diagnostic procedures and treatments for patients. Managing patient charts including admission, transfer and discharge. Managing and ordering unit supplies, equipment and services. Orienting new personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Renders holistic quality nursing care to Geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process.
• Assists physician during consultation, rounds and carry out orders.
• Informs and refers patients to the in-house doctor in case of untoward symptoms,
condition and behavioral problems.
Operate office equipments. Use word processing, spreadsheet, and other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories and medical records. Transmit correspondence and medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax. Perform various clerical and administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies. Maintaining and filing medical records of the patients. Receive the documents such as laboratory results, answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff. Scheduling diagnostic test, procedure and treatment for patients. Perform bookkeeping duties, such as credits and collections, preparing and sending financial statements and bills, and keeping financial records. Managing patient charts including admission, transfer and discharge.
