Advertise all ICARDA vacancies by sending announcements to ICARDA
Websites, ICARDA offices at all locations, Ministers, and Newspapers,
professional magazines, and distribute all international and local vacancies within
ICARDA.
- Receive applications and make sure all necessary documents are enclosed.
- Acknowledge receipt of all applications sent in response to advertisements.
- Prepare documents for Interviewing Committee.
- Fix appointments for interviews.
- Send regret letters to applicants not selected.
- Follow up on Government Clearance for expatriates staff.
- File and maintain up-to-date register of all applications received.
- Prepare Certificates of work to all current and ex staff.
- Prepare contracts for all Consultants and Visitors to ICARDA, and insure them, as
well as insure trainee and graduate students.
- Maintain up-to-date lists of long and short term Consultants.
- Maintain up-to-date Job Descriptions for all ICARDA staff.
- Any other work as requested.
