 Identification of various requirements of SABIC SHEMS standards, Royal Commission Environment Regulations and OSHA basic to ensure compliance of the same.
 Development and implementation environmental monitoring programs that comply with legislation, ISO14001 and RC 14001 requirement for effective environment protection and management.
 Create, customize, develop, implement, track and update SHE MS and rolled out company wide and led to continuous improvement of the Plan Do Check Act.
 Oversee and control SHEM’s procedures, plans and programs pertaining to Hazardous waste management, Fugitive emission program, Soil and Ground water management, Wastewater management and Air pollution Control.
 Communicate and liaise with units / vendors on EHS issues including pre-qualification requirements, EHS plans, noncompliance issue, incident investigation, pre-job meetings, close out meetings and PSSR.
 Monitoring and Carry out comprehensive EHS audits and inspections of plant activities with respect to EHSS requirements for ensuring compliance to SHEMS, RC, OHSA, requirements.
 Organize and coordinate training, audits, inspections and environmental assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
 Participation in EHS incident investigation to ensure that appropriate lessons are learned and practices changed to prevent reoccurrence.
 Participation in PHA / HAZOP / Environment Aspect Impact assessment and monitoring and tracking of recommendations for timely compliance.
 Participation in SABIC SHEMS Self Assessments both internal & external (with SABIC) and monitoring and tracking of implementation of recommendations.
 Oversee and control SHEMS procedures, plans and programs pertaining to PPE, JSA, GRA, WHMIS ERP, SOP, confined space, work at height, spill management etc.
 Extend support to E&PM - project groups for plant commissioning activities to assure SABIC SHEMS -EHSS standards compliance.
 Carrying out Environmental Risk assessment and preparation of Waste matrix for effective waste management during turnaround activities.
 Participated major turnaround activities in Feb 2014 and Oct 2014 as EHS Leader.
 Create and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual reports to all vested stakeholders like SABIC, Centre of Excellence, Royal Commission etc.
 Providing “On Call” coverage as EHS Section representative on a rotational basis to ensure continuing of service to the plant 24 hours operation.
