Receives admitted patient.
Assist in patients in moving, maintaining proper body alignment of patients and utilizing good body mechanics.
Assist in physician when examining patients and prepares patient for and assists physician with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Takes records and vital signs and reports promptly any unusual incidents.
Measure and records intake and output.
Calibrates IV fluid bottle and regulates flow of infusion according to prescribed duration.
Performs nursing activities such as tepid sponge bath, bed shampoo, bed bath, oral hygiene, etc.

Maintains therapeutic environment.
Prepares the necessary materials for procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, IV cutdown, etc.

Performs IM, IV, IVF incorporation, oral per NGT, subcutaneous, intradermal injections.
Exercises good judgement in decision-making.
Gives health teachings to patient and significant others.
Records pertinent observations and findings.
Receives endorsement from outgoing staff and endorses patient to incoming staff.
Discharges patient with accurate going- home instructions.
Treats a patient’s case as legal and confidential in nature.
Establishes rapport and gain trust from peers, superiors and patient under her care.
Participates in education, training, direction, supervision and evaluation of nursing students and non- professional nursing personnel.
Performs specific task delegated by superiors.
Coordinated with treatment center personnel to obtain patients' vital statistics and medical history, to determine the circumstances of the emergency, and to administer emergency treatment.
Administered drugs, orally and by injection, and performed intravenous procedures under a physician's direction.
