Project Details: - Upgrading/Diverting of Main Sewage Pumping Station E to Jebel Ali STP
Project MEP Scope: -
New pumps (5D + 1S) of combined capacity of 1600l/sec @ 57.5m TDH. Replacement of 6.6KV Switchgears with 11KV Switchgear board including battery/battery charger, Replacement of 6.6/0.4KV transformer with 2Nos. 11/0.4KV, 2500KVA dry type transformers, Replacement of 630KVA existing DG set with 2500KVA DG set with bulk & day fuel tank. Replacement of LV MCC with new LV MCC with ICA (PLC/RTU) panel. New earthing and lightning protection system. New UPS for server / control system and LV breaker operation. Replacement of distribution boards, containment system, extract fans, small power and lighting system. Upgrading of all existing control and instrumentations. A modification of existing rising main bypass with new main and associated valves and fittings. New Fire suppression system (FM200) for all electrical panel room. New Firefighting pumps and tank and Fire alarm and evacuation system. Diesel Engine driven skid mounted pump (1 No) & Electrical Pump (1 No’s) of Capacity 800 - 1200 @ 45 l.p.s. to 75 l.p.s. each. New Fire suppression system (FM200) for all electrical panel room. Replace the existing ventilation fans & AC units with appropriate capacity and ventilation ducts.
Job responsibilities
• To coordinate with Client and to manage MEP subcontractor activities for satisfactory work completion.
• To review the Shop drawings and Material submittals for final submission to the Consultant.
• To coordinate with Client, Consultant and Sub-Contractors for Material Approvals.
• To coordinate all MEP utilities & make sure that work has been done as per the specification without clashes
• To Plan day to day site activities and make sure that Mile stones are achieved within time safely.
• To distribute and delegate the site activities to subcontractor efficiently to achieve the target on regular basis.
• To review Method Statement, Check List, Quality Control Plan & Inspection Test Plan.
• To attend FAT/SAT & to assist the Testing Engineer in Testing and Pre-Commissioning activities.
• To raise the Inspection Test Reports and get the approval from the Client.
• Close Coordination with the Quantity surveyor for raising the Invoices.

Project Scope:
Electrical System for building services of 10 substations, that includes installation, testing and commissioning of LV Panels including lighting, emergency and exit lights. Earthing and Lightning Protection system. Installation of small power system including DB, JB, and Communication panels complete with CAT 6A cable wired to Patch panel, power, phone and data outlets. Complete HVAC system for the 10 Substations. Complete Fire Protection system and Detection system for 10 Substations including VESDA system (Aspiration type Smoke Detection System).
