Accident Prevention and Coordinating the team to achieve 0 L.T.I monetering the job site to make sure no hazard at the task during performing the job by inspections and continuous instructions to the down line people to accomplish the project without any incident as well being a Deputy Manager I was able to make the Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen more safety conscious during the job and I conducted regular drills, safety awareness programs, Risk assessments, Implementation of safety standards during the job at site and providing felicities with hygiene conditions moreover particular with J.S.A implementation during job to control the hazard as well risk .

• To assist the safety Manager in co-ordination of safety activities,
• Co-ordination with client’s safety officer regarding safety procedure in the job site
• Co- ordination with the subcontractor’s safety department from time to time regarding safety matters.
• Attending subcontractor pre-development safety orientation classes whenever they have new working personnel responsible to make regular site inspection to monitor subcontractor’s compliance with safety personnel.
• Inspection for workers and equipment’s in the job site to ensure proper safety procedures as per client’s satisfaction.
• Making daily reports regarding unsafe procedures in the job site, and preventive steps to avoid recurrence.
• Attending toolbox meeting of subcontractor to assure that they are discussing safety procedures.
• Monitoring electrical work with safety precautions and providing awareness about safety to the workers in projects.
• To check and evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personnel injuries by subcontractors, to render advice to subcontractor on matter related to reporting and investigation of accident and diseases. Ensure that subcontractors are following up the clients work permit procedures and inspect them on daily basis, Suspend the work or prohibit the use of facilities of subcontractors, of emergency measures are required to eliminate the hazardous activities or work conditions, until their satisfaction rectification in make and verified.

• Conducting seminars, orientation for newly hired employees, researches and studies for improvement of safety in the project.

• Recommending disciplinary action to safety violation who unnecessarily expose themselves or other personnel to potential physical hazard.

• Monitors the implementation of the requirements of Safety Management Plan and arrange continuous and formal daily safety monitoring to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• To liaise with and support Area Engineers/Superintendents/Supervisors to promote safety awareness in their area of responsibility.
• To investigate and report immediately in writing all accidents, unsafe acts, near misses occurred at work site and the report shall be submitted immediately to the concerned personnel.
• Monitoring the implementation of completed Risk Assessments.
• Monitoring the correct usage of safety barriers, including timely removal.
• Assists in preparing toolbox talk subjects for the supervisors and monitor its compliance.
• Responsible in issuing detailed weekly/monthly safety reports including all accident/incident, hazards and near-misses observed, manpower, man-hours worked and submit to concerned personnel.
• Involved in ensuring safety discrepancy logbook is posted in each work areas, its location can be easily noticed/accessed and the supervisors review the logbooks on regular basis to take the necessary corrective action.

• To participate in the weekly safety audit inspections and to ensure that all the unsafe acts/conditions reported are corrected.
• Coordinates with Client Safety management team.
