Job Role
Responsible for the company’s entire recruitment process, training and development payroll and benefits management and for coordinating with senior managers and stakeholders concerning Human Resource projects and policies.

Responsibilites
• Provide leadership and managed the Human Resources team in recruitment, performance management, training and development and employment separation and ensured effective application and compliance of all HR policies and procedures
• Manage the Human Resource Information System and ensure the maintenance of employee records and documentation meet legislative requirements and Provision of accurate monthly HR workforce reports.
• Develop a remuneration strategy in line with market trends and updated the same periodically
• Design and implement performance appraisal programs that monitor performance and provide development opportunities for employees
• Design a training program for professional development through training needs analysis reviews and advise management personnel on career development including the identification of development mechanisms suited to the individual employee
• Manage industrial and employee relations issues and provide advice to senior management and other relevant personnel as required
• Train line managers and relevant personnel on Industrial Relations and Employee relation issues and provide leadership in the development and implementation of HR/IR policies, procedures and systems
• Design HR policies, procedures and processes and ensure they are current and conform to current legislative requirements and industry standards
• Develop a culture of teamwork and employee involvement through the participation of a positive and enthusiastic working environment
• Maintain awareness of employment market constraints

Responsible for the company’s entire recruitment process, and for interacting with all levels of managers and stakeholders concerning Human Resource projects, policies and operational decisions.

Responsibilities:
Employee Recruitment
• Plan for all human resources together with the respective section heads to ensure all employee needs are timely met to their satisfaction.
• Develop staff recruitment budget and write job descriptions and specifications.
• Design job advertisements and ensure placements of the same in appropriate media.
• Receive and sort out job applications using the set guidelines.
• Participate in the shortlist, interview and selection of candidates.
• Effectively introduce and notify employees about new recruits.

Payroll and Benefits Management
• Maintain a variety of payroll information, files and records in written and electronic format for purpose of providing up to date references and audit trail for compliance.
• Prepare timely and accurate statutory remittance schedules.
• Ensure compliance of payroll with established financial, legal and administrative requirements.
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of payroll related documents.
• Reconcile account balances for purpose of maintaining an accurate record.
• Inform employees regarding required documentation or procedures for purposes of conveying the necessary information to complete transactions.
• Verify payroll related information for the purpose of ensuring accurate distribution of funds on the payroll.
• Communicate with internal and external parties for purpose of ensuring accurate processing of payroll deductions.
• Facilitate meetings for the purpose of identifying appropriate actions, developing recommendations and supporting other staff.
• Respond to written and verbal inquiries for the purpose of providing information and for direction to staff and management.
• Support the processing of non-wage/salary compensation e.g. leave, retirement, reimbursement processes such as variable pay and provident fund scheme.

Performance Management
• Manage all departmental performance issues.
• Devise and implement policies and strategies for the development of employee performance.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication to all staff about performance issues including preparation of reports for managers, committees and giving presentations.
• Coordinate departmental performance evaluations.
• Provide training and guidance to departmental staff and senior managers on performance and service improvement.

Medical Insurance
• Participate in the assessment of different medical service providers in the market for purposes of selecting the best possible service provider.
• Participate in contract renewals and acquisition of medical services with providers.
• Update the medical service providers on new members and leavers of the scheme.
• Hold regular meetings with the medical services providers to address employee complaints where necessary.


Talent Management and Development
• Carry out training needs assessment based on job requirements and consultation.
• Develop training programmes, charts and budgets.
• Identify personnel growth and development needs in line with organisational goals.
• Develop training content and scheduling different trainings including induction.
• Carry out regular evaluations of training, its impact and making recommendations.
• Conduct orientation program for employee motivation in order to direct their efforts towards the organisational goals.
• Carry out periodic departmental performance appraisals and evaluation.
• Monitor probation performance of newly recruited employees and make recommendations at the end of the probation.

Development and Implementation of Policies and Procedures
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes directly or indirectly related to human resource management.
