• Working in PGESCo (Bechtel Corporation) Cairo, EGYPT as a CAD Technology Manager.
Leading implementation team of cross-functional resources in the planning, coordinating and supervising of all activities related to delivering a company-wide engineering design and systems integration project.
Planning, coordinating, and supervising the systems integration of multiple engineering discipline’s tools as well as procurement and construction departments through a combination of commercial and custom-built software.
Supervising the development of the software using agile software development practices, product development tools, and methodologies such as SCRUM boards.
Substantially decreased Helpdesk response time by identifying and organizing repeating issues while training staff on solutions to those issues.
Maintaining Agile development practices within the company, including sprint planning and reviews, and daily scrum meetings.
Managing the team, guiding them in the right path and team building (planning to improve the skill set of the team by providing training and recruiting fresh graduates and providing them required training).
Business requirements gathering process by working with clients and stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements, features, and feedback.
Working with senior management to brainstorm product strategies, measure the impact of solutions and create product plans and roadmaps that were consistent with client business requirements and company goals.
Managing and prioritizing the product backlog in order to ensure product features and releases are launched correctly and according to schedule and product roadmap.
Preparing project engineering automation plan.
Apart from above specified managerial activities, my contribution for all the projects done in PGESCo are as

• Requirement gathering from the projects.
• SP3D Project Set up and SP3D Administration.
• Creating database user and schema.
• Created piping Catalog Data and Piping specification in Smartplant 3D for the project and created commodity code rule for all the parts in this project.
• Manual checked each and every component for its placement in Smartplant 3D and checked whether they are properly reported in isometrics and reports
• Created drawing view styles required for drawings and setting of isometric options required according to company standards.
• Crated required catalog parts and specifications for structural and electrical modules.
• Preparing some symbols like Fire hydrants etc.
• Creating hierarchy related to the project.
• Drawing generation using Drawing and reports task.
• Customizing ISOGEN settings and extracting isometric drawings.
• Interference Checking Setup and batch server setup.
• Creation of VUE file for reviewing purpose in Smart plant review.
• Report Generation
• Daily trouble shooting
• Maintaining R3D file (attaching external 3D files from other contractors in SP3D)
• Creating Naming Rules
• Creating VB, VB.Net and C# Reports and VB, VB.Net and C# Labels
• Keeping track of all smartplant product updates
• Coordinating issues and new requirements with Intergraph and following up with them periodically.

• Project Upgrades from older version to newer versions
• SPF Integration setup, Handling publish and retrieve related problems.
• Data exchange and exports and imports between different tools.
• Helping and guiding team members to develop Virtual reality models for the models generated by Smartplant 3D and E3D.
• Getting construction data into Smartplant 3D using custom command (BIM).
• Getting Project Controls data into Smartplant 3D using custom command.
• Based on Business needs evaluating different CAD platforms
• Explore new CAD technologies and developments to utilize them to the maximum to get benefits for the project (Examples: Laser scan, Digital twin etc.…)
• My responsibilities in Doosan Babcock energy India Pvt. Ltd were to maintain the Smartplant tools (right from installing SP3D and setting of SP3D environment including server setup from tool perspective), preparing Catalogs and specifications and involved in boiler layouts.
• My responsibilities in M/s AVINEON INDIA Pvt. Ltd are preparing Piping and Equipment layouts. It includes Equipment modeling and modifications based on the client’s comments, Pipe routing as per the system requirements using P&IDs, Generation of GA Drawings for Piping & Equipments from 3D model, Isometric Generation, Pipe Support modeling, Modeling of Steel Structural supports in frame works.
Deputed to INTERGRAPH, India for training in PDS administration, Smartplant3D Administration, Smartplant3D modules, and conversion of PDS models to Smartplant3D models. And also I have created some symbols like side ladder and thru ladder etc….created catalog and specifications for ABENGOA BIOENERGY NETHERLANDS, and active participant in translations project i.e from PDS to Smartplant 3D.
• Worked as a piping engineer, duties include Equipment modeling, Pipe routing as per the system requirements using P&I Diagrams, steel work like placing grids, structural supports for ducts etc, Generation of 2D GA Drawings for Piping & Equipments from 3D model, Isometric Generation and placing logical supports for pipes based on feasibility and maximum span between pipe supports.
Core subjects: Finite Element Analysis, Robotics, Computer Aided Modeling and Design, Computer Aided Design and Analysis, Vibration Analysis and Condition Monitoring, Mechanics of Composite Materials, etc... Thesis: “Effect of Flyer Plate on Velocity and Penetration of APFSDS Shot in the Target” This project is done in ORDNANCE FACTORY, Yeddumailaram, Medak
,Core subjects: Thermal Engineering, Strength of Materials, Design of Machine Elements, Theory of Machines, Production Technology, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Metallurgy, etc … Thesis: “Finite element simulation of elastic compliance technique for Formulating a test method to determine the fracture toughness of bone”
