• Develop and implementing innovative systems to deliver even better performance at lower cost.
• Define the company’s operational strategy, processes and procedures to influence the strategic direction of the business.
• Build strong relationships and connections with partner organizations.
• Work with constituent groups including boards, committees, volunteers, and external audiences.
• Oversee and coordinating all aspects of budgeting and financial management.
• Lead organizations and departments through periods of substantial growth and transition.
• Work with the Region and Country offices to develop strategies develop performance measurements to track and support outcomes delivery.
• Set up monitoring and reporting mechanisms in the regional office and the country offices around accepted standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of consultants engaged to support strategy and monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Monitor the alignment of the country offices’ programming and the Learning Centers with the regional and country strategies.
• Assess organizational effectiveness in the Country Offices and strengthen design, monitoring and evaluation to support country strategies.
• Provide regional leadership with regular monitoring reports on the status of program quality management and program outcomes and develops appropriate recommendations for follow up.
• Provide annual report on the contribution of World Vision to the well-being of children.
• Supports the Programming Effectiveness Specialists, Sponsorship Operations Advisors and technical specialists in developing and implementing effective plans for improving performance
• Build linkages with other (external) organizations and Support Offices that contribute towards the effective delivery of effective ministry in alignment with programming effectiveness policy.
• Facilitate the contribution of the region in the development of global ministry policies and guidelines through participation in relevant working groups, partnership processes and feedback mechanisms.
• Promote ministry quality and integration of 3 lines of ministry in the region as per the partnership standards
• Maintain regular communication with peers in the other regions in order that they can act collectively as field advisors for the progress and pace of Global Centre initiatives.
• As a member of the senior management team of the region, contribute to the overall organizational and program development of the region.
Planning resettlement of rural farmers to new farms after independence.
Planning for infrastructure and other developments, water, schools etc.
