As a Furniture Specialist - Project - Business Development Manager I have built a solid relationship with major governmental organisations, large international private companies and real estate firms. I have carried out pure furniture, civil and turnkey projects from A to Z.
• accomplishing furniture, civil and turnkey projects from A to Z
• attending site visits and surveys at pre-construction phase
• setting up and coordinating with design and estimating departments for project preparation
• developing project plan and managing project scope within budget plan
• building strategic relationships with key personnel in targeted clients, also with major real estate companies like CBRE, Knight Frank, DTZ, Cushman & Wakefield, First Gulf Bank, East-West Property, Force10 and local Real Estate companies
• identifying new customers and qualifying potential business opportunities
• conducting sales, designing presentations and helping specifying products for specific upcoming projects
• preparing costing, design proposal and BOQ for client’s review
• individual major accounts: ADNOC, NDC, ADAC, ADWEA, ADDC, ADFCA, MOPA, ADNATCO, Musanada, Etisalat, Etihad Airways, The British Embassy, Ghantoot, Al Ahlia Group, NBAD, Bloom Properties and various private firms like AECOM, Schlumberger, Ernst & Young, Siemens, EADS etc.
NAES aimed to provide a two year Associate Degree Program starting with courses from School of Management and Information System which would prepare students for University. The NAES was to be an agent for the following Universities: The University of North Alabama, Keiser University, Miami University, National University.
Responsibilities:
• running the strategic management and operational oversight of the Holding's Business Development
• responsible for budget and cash flow, purchasing, implementation of current polices and procedures
• establishing critical partnerships with the Ministry of Education and adherence to government ministry rules
• liaising with the partner Universities to develop and maintain organizational strategies, operational efficiencies
• setting up the relationship and was involved in the negotiation between NAES and Bahrain`s Economic Development Board concerning its participation in the Academic City
• participating in negotiations with a member of Bahrain`s Ruling Family in order to promote the concept of the NAES University Centre in the entire Gulf Region
• identifying an Investor who would provide the Bank guarantee for this project (BHD 50, 000, 000.000),
