Associate Professor, Dr., Lecturer in English Area Studies and Culture•Teacher
Ms Krassimira Ivanova is an excellent teacher of English, an admirable colleague and a most reliable friend. I have known her since 1979, when I was a teacher of English at the English Language School of Rousse where she was a student. She was a very disciplined young person and a most diligent student. When I was already Lecturer of English and Anglophone Area Studies at the University of Rousse, Bulgaria, and being a member of two examination boards, I had to examine her twice in English for two positions: Adjunct Lecturer of English, and Full-time Lecturer of English at the Department for Foreign Languages (I myself belong to the Department of European Studies, but collaborate with the Department for Foreign Languages a lot). She performed brilliantly at both examinations. I have also had her several times as a partner for some of my classes (e.g., Anglophone Area Studies, English in International Communication, etc.) where she proved to be an excellent colleague. Krassimira Ivanova speaks and writes British English. Her students learn a lot under her guidance. This is because she combines tact and efficiency, is herself very disciplined and can deal with amazing amounts of work without flinching. Her colleagues respect her and her superiors trust her. I can recommend her both for a teaching or a managerial position as she can organise others and herself with very little effort. If you need more information about Ms Ivanova, contact me on my email address (roumyana.petrova@yahoo.com). I will be glad to tell you more about her professional skills and good character. Respectfully yours, R. Petrova, PhD.
