CUSTOMER SERVICE/OPERATIONS/BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Index the shipping instructions and create booking, manifest the booking as per country handling SOP, verify and send the confirm copy to customer on time, handle customer queries,
OPERATIONS: Currently in Vessel Release team - Responsible for standard cargo execution transactions i.e. Load/Discharge of containers. Track container details into the terminal and update correct information in local application. Was part of Purchase Order team - Create the purchase order for various costs incurred in shipping and terminal for different vendors, handle workflows which reflect from 3-way mismatch and clear the same to get the vendor on time payment. Analyse the PO, GR Timeliness and quality, generate the reports from Business warehouse (BW report). In Data Quality- assist and update the feasible vessel routing based on the discrepancy.
BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Centralised the overall reports which is done by individual team. Partially involved into automation of manual PO creation, generate HR related reports such as headcount, staff card, etc. Analysis and Representation of Weekly process performance data & provide reviews to both internal and external stakeholders (Process control charts with CAPA and FMEA etc.).
Additional Responsibilities across the account includes: Publishing Newsletters, Involved in work station planning.
