• Gained rich experience in the schematic and detailed design of residential, mixed use high-rise development projects of esteemed property developers in the Middle East. Worked on tall buildings up to 55 stories height.
• Design lead for the detailed design package of a project in Dubai South. Managed a team of three engineers and BIM technicians for the detailed design package of two parcels. Responsibilities included liaising with leads in Dubai, multi- disciplinary coordination, monitoring budget allocations and complete delivery of the package.
• Liaised with Dubai office to maintain the design standards in accordance with Dubai Municipality requirements.
• Worked as the contractor’s consultant for a Cross rail extension project in UK. Work included studying concept options for bridge extension, assessment of existing masonry structures, preparation of retrofitting proposals and risk assessments with strict adherence to health and safety requirements and environmental considerations.
• Designed and reviewed several complicated steel structures and connection details for many projects in UK and GCC.
• Involved in the design of steel rest platform, internal ladder, crane pedestal, internal platforms and associated decks for an offshore windfarm project in UK.
• Involved in providing design and construction support to build a temporary steel platform that facilitates the demolition of an existing canopy structure in Hong Kong.

• Involved in the analysis and design of heavy industrial steel structures such as CFBC / WHR boiler structures, conveyor gallery structures, trestles and transfer towers.

• Optimized various structural schemes to achieve a substantial reduction in steel take off, up to 600 Tonnes.
• Assessed the conditions of steel structures at an existing lignite plant and proposed suitable retrofitting measures to reinstate the desired performance.
• Estimated optimized steel quantities for national and international projects for quoting works and have converted them to orders successfully.
• Developed automated macro based excel sheets to enable quick STAAD modelling, analysis and design of steel hollow section connection joints according to provisions of Euro code and CIDECT manuals.
• Prepared detailed reports and presentations pertaining to various technical assessments of executed projects and suggested recommendations for improvements/optimization possible.

design recommendations to cater the addition of 250 MT capacity EOT crane.
• Analyzed and designed RCC foundations for Waste Heat Recovery Boiler, Economiser, Sulphur Melter,
Heat exchangers and adjacent structures for a project in Doha, Qatar. British codes were used.

• M Tech Project: Finite element analysis of concrete structures (1 year)
• To model realistic reinforced concrete structures using finite element software- DIANA 9.3 and to validate the behaviour of the same with standard experimental results.
• Estimation and updating of material parameters that define the constitutive model of concrete structures through static measurements.
• Optimization of parameters using Genetic algorithm and active set algorithm leading to minimization of the error norm.
• B tech Project: Soil stabilization using industrial wastes (6 months)
• Strengthening of kaolinite clay mineral using industrial wastes.
• Materials used were crusher dust from M-sand unit and phospho-gypsum from "English-India clays".
