o Staff nurse in a ICU-CCU in a tertiary level hospital.
Performs basic nursing care and interventions like, TPR monitoring, administers medications as per doctors's order. Performs simple procedures like, suctioning, HGT nebulization, catheterization, NGT insertions. Does CPR if necessary.
Manipulates apparatus such as incubator, pulse oximeter, defibrillator, ECG, ABG machine if necessary.
Does referral to ROD's, consultants and to Respiratory therapist if necessary. Endorses patients to ward if stable and assists in the general activities of the unit as assigned.
