I participate in line maintenance tasks, some scheduled maintenance tasks, line defects MR1 & MR2 troubleshooting and rectification, flying spanner duty and rescue aircraft AOG at outstation on a few occasions. In Jazeera Airways I worked with a pool of engineers and mechanics from different backgrounds and nationalities, and because I had full b1 and B2 authorization I always discussed aircraft defects with other engineers and sometimes with the cockpit crews.
I joined Safeair technical initially as a senior mechanic and was promoted to B1 and B2 LAE in 2017. My first type rating was B777, from 2017-2018 I was deployed to support customer airlines in wet lease / ACMI operation overseas. At the end of 2018 the company sent me for an A320 type course, afterwards I was assigned to handle customer airlines (line station technical handling including issue CRS and a few times AOG situation) that operate A320 fitted with V25, CFM 56 and LEAP 1A to KLIA. In 2019, In the subsequent year the company sent me for B737NG training to service one chinese carrier operating B737.
I started as a junior mechanic in the AirAsia Engineering team and participated in line maintenance activities for A320 fitted with CFM 56 with guidance from senior mechanics and engineers.
Later I was sent by AirAsia to be based in MRO which provides C check and base maintenance service to the AirAsia A320 fleet. It was an opportunity for me to work in a hangar/base maintenance environment and to learn about C checks / AMP, workshop and NDT, which widely enhance my exposure in the aircraft maintenance field.
As part of the diploma program I was involved in on-job training with SR Aviation which is a Cessna Authorized Facility for Cessna Citation business jets.
Participated in Diploma in aircraft maintenance course which the core syllabus according to EASA part 66 modules
