As a member of the Claims Management Team for the various FIDIC-based international and local infrastructure, superstructure, and transportation projects under the Public Procurement Law which are led by the company execution teams, I am responsible for the following duties with my manager:
•Providing contractual support to the Company and Project Teams for ongoing or completed projects,
•Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contractual letters,
•Follow-up on routine formal correspondence and inquiries between the parties,
•Identifying potential claim issues and making historical classifications of correspondence. Analyzing the potential claim issues that disrupt the progress of Works,
•Preparation and monitoring of the extension of time with additional cost claims,
•Collaborating with the Legal Department on contractual matters,
•Coordinating the pre-arbitration preparations, including the participation of witnesses, experts, and lawyers.
•Ensuring the necessary coordination between the headquarters teams and Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Board (DAAB),
•Providing documentation and quantum calculations for the DAABs's members and potential arbitration proceedings.

As a member of the Project Management Team for the various EPC and mostly FIDIC based (Yellow and Silver Book) Energy Projects which are led by the affiliated department from the corporate headquarters, I was responsible for the following duties with my manager:
•Providing contractual support to the Company and Project Teams for ongoing or completed projects,
•Ensuring the necessary coordination between the site and headquarters teams for the preparation of subcontractor contracts within the scope of the Projects which are led by the department,
•Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contractual letters,
• Follow-up on routine formal correspondence and inquiries between the parties,
• Identifying potential claim issues and making historical classifications of correspondence. Analyzing the possible claim issues that disrupt the progress of Works,
• Preparation and monitoring of extension of time with additional cost claims, excluding delay analysis,
• Conducting risk assessment on subcontract agreements and reporting potential risks to the project management team,
• Collaborating with the Legal, Procurement, Logistic, Finance Departments and Insurance Companies on contractual matters,
• Reviewing and interpreting relevant contractual documents for proposal studies and preparing revision requests as needed.
EPC Package 3 - Offsite Facilities, Duqm Refinery Project
Client: SAIPEM SPA Oman Branch

As part of the Duqm Refinery Project, Serka-RAECO JV was the subcontractor of Saipem SPA under the packages of Civil Works at Drybulk Area SP-A and Construction of Permanent Road at SP-A & SP-C. As a contract administrator, I was responsible of all below duties:
• Preparation of subcontract agreements and its appendices,
• Managing subcontracts; preparing amendments, release protocols, terminations, determination of penalty and/or delay damages due to subcontractor's default and notify the account and/or QS department accordingly,
• Creation, follow-up, and continuity of agreement files and databases,
• Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contractual letters,
• Follow-up on routine formal correspondence and inquiries between the parties,
• Providing contractual support to the company headquarters.
Construction of Roads, Infrastructure & Buildings at the Commercial Terminal & Operational Zone Areas, Port of Duqm (IP2),

As part of Port of Duqm Project, Serka-MSF JV is the main contractor under the package of C66/2016 Construction of Roads, Infrastructure & Buildings at the Commercial Terminal & Operational Zone Areas, Port of Duqm- IP2. The project consists of all necessary infrastructure, administrative buildings and warehouses on a roughly 1 million square meters of land to serve as a container terminal at Port of DUQM.
As a member of the contracts team, I have been responsible of all below duties with my manager and colleagues:
• Preparation of subcontract agreements and its appendices,
• Creation, follow-up, and continuity of agreement files and databases,
• Follow-up of the contractual rights and obligations of the parties under the contracts signed with the Employer and subcontractors,
• Preparation and follow-up of subcontractor and engineer correspondences,
• Contractual and documentary studies on Claim Management issues,
• Risk assessment of subcontract agreements and reporting to project management the possible risks,
• Controlling the contractual compliance of Subcontractors' Payment Certificates.
As a member of the engineering team, I was responsible of all below duties with my manager and
colleagues:
• Structural design, building performance evaluations,
• Strengthening of buildings against earthquakes.
