• assisting in preparation of the production plan
• identifying and carrying out improvement projects
• assisting in preparing and review of operational procedures
• participating in reviews such as HAZOP
• follow up on unplanned shutdown and equipment failure then carry out a root cause analysis; follow up on corrective
action to reduce future downtime
• ensuring personnel safety and process safety is sufficient
• follow up on accidents and near miss incidents according to the procedure
• daily follow up on best operational procedures
• participation in implementation of ISO 14001 and FSSC 22000
