• Gathering business requirements, analysing, designing, developing, testing and deploying custom data warehouse systems / applications; defining data requirements and designing databases to satisfy client business objectives
• Proposing overall architecture strategy including development standards, setting common utilities, setting reporting standards and security standards
• Providing disaster recovery plan in-line with business objectives and providing suggestion to Business & IT Management being in Business IT Continuity Team
• Managing the integration of enterprise systems for EIM and Data Management projects like Master Data Management, Data Quality/Data Profiling, Metadata, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Strategy, Data Marts, Enterprise Performance Management, and Application Architect
• Demonstrating reports / graphs/ Dashboards developed across departments / entities as proof of concept
• Training Users to develop basic reports and perform changes to existing reports required for adhoc reporting
• Performing the Scrum Master responsibilities for BI Scrum projects
• Suggesting appropriate business as well as technology-based solutions for enhancing functional efficiency of the organisation and achieving business excellence
• Providing deep subject matter/functional expertise to recommend BI, Data warehouse and Integration solutions related to SAP BI/Business Objects, Data Services, OBIEE, SSIS, SSAS, Hyperion Planning and Other BI Tools
• Collaborating with the software development team to ensure that data rules are being supported and properly maintained
• Controlling migration of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle
• Implementing backups (hot & cold back-ups) using User Managed along with recovery, monitoring procedures and ongoing support
• Managing relationship with project stakeholders, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables
• Installing and maintaining SQL Server database systems. Maintaining the database systems includes but is not limited to ensuring successful backups, resolving system issues, opening cases with technical support to resolve issues, monitoring success and failure of automated jobs, monitor system availability, updating system documentation, system and database recovery, etc.
• Migrating Databases from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 to 2012 and SQL Server 2000 to 2012 by using conventional model
Produce accurate, relevant and timely ad hoc reports & Dashboard for the Senior Management across Enterprise.
