Street View is a technology featured in search engine uploaded on Web and in mobiles that provides panoramic views from various positions along many streets in India especially all major cities across India, and will gradually expanded to include more cities and rural areas in India. Street View displays images taken from a fleet of specially adapted Cars. On each of these vehicles there are six directional cameras for 360° views at a height of about 2.5 meters, GPS units for positioning in the front of the vehicle to capture images along with GPS path for location and height. Using specialized equipment and software, that captures images with elongated fields of panoramic view. The camera generates a lot of data, very quickly, and needs to be connected to a computer for capture. This camera system can delivers several distortion free 360° panoramas per second at constant image resolution and efficient edge extraction of the scene under real illumination conditions Without any further computation The captured images will in 360° panoramic view showing all the POI (point of interest) along with the attributes which has been tagged to the images
The objective of this project to extract the features of Line and point on the Road and Road side feature like Road width, foot paths, parcel boundaries, trees, electrical pole etc. Almost 80 line and point features. The entire feature extraction is being done by using Spatial Factory Software. In this Software using cloud data extract the features using 3D and 2D views. After extraction point, Line features next export into Shape file format. Next using Arc Map snapping data and convert in CAD format and give symbolization in AutoCAD
