2) Accounting close driven down from 6 to 3 days.
3) Cost Reduction Initiative: €600k per annum cost savings (Travel &Entertainment policies, downsizing, marketing budget)
4) SSM methodology to improve export documents collection process. VAT exposure reduction of 55% (€4.7m down to €2.1m)
5) VAT Recovery in 26 EU states. 88% liquidation of assets - €4m down to €0.5m.

- Recruitment and training of financial reporting team

Project Management
1) Finance lead on APT System Migration Project (upstream to Oracle Financials): UAT testing and training.
2) EMEA Process Improvement Project: Streamline accounting processes within the EMEA Finance Team. Savings equivalent to 2 headcount were realised.

Project Mangement
1) Monthly reporting process re-engineering. We developed a finance executive pack for VPs, that outlined performance of each line of business on a monthly basis.

- ISC manufacturing finance team lead FP&A. Supervise a team of four qualified accountants
- Prepare annual budgets for the manufacturing operation and quarterly forecasts
- Transfer pricing and intercompany invoicing
- Financial control & month end reporting

Senior Revenue Accountant (Dublin, Ireland)
- US GAAP revenue accountant for UK software revenue
- Review customer contracts to ensure compliance to US GAAP revenue recognition principles
- Support sales and legal teams with revenue recognition issues
- Present monthly revenue results to UK & Ireland CFO and senior management team
- Accounting Close / Month end
- Balance sheet reconciliations (deferred revenue and accruals)

Strategic Accountant (Dublin, Ireland)
- US GAAP accountant for Romania and Cyprus
- Supervise transaction processing team in India to ensure timely closure of accounting books / month end close
- Support local finance teams in Romania and Cyprus with issues/queries relating to management accounts
- Focal point for all queries relating to US GAAP accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts for MD/Senior management in Switzerland including variance analysis (to budget) and commentary

- Secondment to two department of health bodies:
- National Treatment Purchasing Fund. Part of project team to implement a new accounting system (Exchequer)
- National Breast Screening Authority. Management accountant to cover maternity leave
