As the company is owned by foreign investors, English proficiency is a must. I'm responsible for any communication with the customers and also for order management. Though it is a fine career for me with lots of opportunities to advance, there are some inconveniences such as working hours, regulations and travel distance. I'm currently working there.
As a data analyst, I had to administer daily data input for the newspapers, collaborate with the data encoders to ensure the right input. And report everything to head analyst everyday. Though it was an internship to accomplish my degree, I had a very good time working with people from another cultural background.
During my almost 1 year working time in ADRA, I aided the local team leader to plan budget for aid and relief operations, calculate employees' wages and salaries and coordinate the schedule planning for task-forces.
I was just a regular and normal student in my college life. Although my GPA should be much higher than the one I got, the college's grading system is very much focused on the attendance rather on the performance. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied with my GPA.
