I have taught 1st Grade all Academics such as Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies. I began using flexible seating and Reading Centers. I was also used a lot of techology such as Ipad, chromebooks and classroom projector. I can utilize resources from the web to teach.
I started as KG teacher, and became a Lead Teacher for Early childhood, mentored about 7 teachers from Daycare to Kindergarten. I did professional Development and also did Teacher Observations.
I mentored teachers and gave workshops on "Teaching Creative and Effective Writing". I also taught 3rd Grade Writing Class as a model class. I produced 2 student Newsletters celebrating student writing from K-5th grade. I also created Poetry Jam which all classes K-5th had to 'act out' their poetries.
I created an organization called Asian Artists and Architects, and have done 2 annual exhibitions. I also helped tutor and mentor highschool student in their Saturday program.
