• Global Auto Hub - Abu Dhabi is a Public-Private Partnership between Ghassan Aboud Group & Abu Dhabi Ports Group to create an automotive omni-channel ecosystem, strengthening even more UAE’s position as the global automotive trade and distribution hub
• Responsible for the operational success of Global Auto Hub - Abu Dhabi; developing and implementing various projects around the products/services that the hub will offer, including designing the business and value offerings for tenants, partners, and customers
• Design and develop the sales and marketing strategies, create and implement innovative value-added services, provide cross-functional communications, manage overall customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth for the company
• Develop the Global Auto Hub - Abu Dhabi, an automotive ecosystem project
• Support the development of existing businesses and create new opportunities in the automotive vertical
• Provide implementation support and industry knowledge to the group and across all automotive initiatives
• Responsible for developing the Sales & Business Strategy of the Genesis brand launch in Europe
• Lead the transition to an agency distribution model
• Direct reports from Sales Planning, Dealer Marketing, Customer Experience, CRM, Fleet sales teams for Genesis Motor Europe (GME)
• Setup the sales and operations for Germany (GMD), United Kingdom (GMUK) and Switzerland (GMCH)
• Lead 15 professionals to manage Sales, Network Development & Aftersales Service in regions that Genesis had already launched (United States, Canada, Russia, and the Middle East)
• Supported the restructuring of the Genesis dealer network in the US
• Successfully lead the launch of Genesis in Puerto Rico
• Kicked off expansion plans to key Asian markets such as Singapore, Vietnam, and Hong Kong
• Sales management and export to importers in Africa & Middle East of Hyundai vehicles
• Responsible for 40% of the sales volume by managing key accounts such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Kenya
• Pivotal in creating awareness and providing solutions to the top management of the “pre-sales” issue that was plaguing the region for over a decade
• Successfully implemented policies to restrict cross-territory sales within the Middle East
• Government Relations and Affairs, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Administration and Human Resources management & development
• Negotiated Hyundai Motor Brasil factory incentives with the São Paulo State and Piracicaba Municipal authorities during the project phase
• Broadened Government negotiations to National level authorities in Brasilia such as tax reduction negotiations for innovative machinery not produced in Brazil
• Kicked-off CSR activities in Piracicaba such as bringing in the Happy Move Global Youth Volunteers of Hyundai Motor Group to help people in need and the locomotive dentist with the Metallurgic Labor Union
• Administration and Human Resources management & development of the São Paulo sales division
• Sales management and export to importers in Latin America of Hyundai vehicles
• High satisfaction of the importers of countries in the Caribbean and Central America, lead to being responsible for the fast-growing Brazilian market
• Phenomal sales growth in Brazil from 500 cars per year in 2004 to 75, 000 in 2009
