♣ Assign work to the lab staff for the smooth operation of lab and to ensure all analysis are performed according to the International test methods (ASTM, IP, UOP etc)
♣ To ensure all samples are collected as per the Schedule and supervise the Samplers to provide the cleaned sample bottles in the process areas as per schedule.
♣ Coordinate with the Oil Movement Section for the collection of the Run Down and Certificate Samples of finished products.
♣ To ensure all Shipment samples are collected as per required protocol.
♣ To ensure all safety measures are applied by the Lab Chemist during the analysis.
♣ Review daily lab results for any possible mistake before reporting the result to the end user.
♣ Result Entry in the lab log book and LIMS and authorization of result on time.
♣ Report the any abnormal result to the concerned process operator for prompt corrective action.
♣ Preparation of daily Lab report of all process units and highlight any abnormal result as per the Unit Regulation Sheet.
♣ Preparation of Quality Certificate of Shipments by ensuring all analysis are done by the standard methods and Results are within the specification range.
♣ Calibrate the lab equipments on time and perform routine maintenance.
