Provides support for the Syrian refugee emergency response team, and acts as liaison to local implementing partner.
•Provides technical support to health department activities as requested by the Medical Coordinator.
•Ensures health program activities are in line with established best practices and Jordan Ministry of Health guidelines.
•Works with the M&E Department to ensure timely and accurate reporting from health programs, including assisting with the translation, review, and analysis of data to inform future programming.
•Works closely with the Medical Coordinator and field teams to determine the programmatic needs of the health program.
•Liaises with field and program teams on a regular basis to determine operational needs.
•Ensures the provision of needed supplies to field programs in cooperation with the Logistics and Finance Departments.
•Advises and provides support to sub-partner organizations on the joint implementation of health programs.
•Conduct clinical activities as needed within the scope of the health program.
•Training :
Assisting in the selection and training of qualified program health staff.
Working closely with the health teams to determine the training needs of staff.
Providing training as necessary to IMC-Jordan and sub-partner clinical staff.
Providing technical oversight of the content and implementation of the training program.
Directly supervises and manages the IMC-Jordan Medical Trainer.
•Managing a team of six field assistants as part of M&E team
Works night-shift in the floor (General male unit) dealing with surgical, medical, and orthopedic cases.
Oversees the MMU overflow and attends to field visits.
•Organizes the stock and supplies for the MMU.
•Manage the data entry and services tracking.
Provided emergency care for critically ill or injured patients.
Provided care to patients recovering from invasive surgery and intensive cardiac cases, and any case that required continuous monitoring.
