•Basic Functions
•Responsible for the construction of yards, roads, buildings, and related facilities in the main plant and wharf area and coordinates on-going repair works in all facilities of different areas.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
•Priorities work to be done based on incoming/approved work request given by the supervisor.
•Follow-up progress of jobs to ensure efficient flow of work.
•Follow-up material request papers to the central storehouse department.
•Reviews and evaluates daily accomplishment and discusses with immediate superior regarding job activities.
•Estimate and design immediate works such as: foundations, repair of windows, roofing’s, doors, gutters, drainage system and etc.
•Make short-range planning and scheduling for the following day activities and status regarding repair and maintenance activities.
•Check the design from end user and estimate cost, set work program and equipment requirement.
•Performs emergency repair works of plant facilities during call-in.
III. Work Relationship
•Coordinate closely with YRB supervisor and P and C manager for instruction and direction of work.
•Coordinate with other area supervisor regarding their work request.
•Coordinate with the foreman regarding job activities.
IV. Working Conditions
•On call-in basis as schedule by YRB maintenance supervisor.
•Spend most of the time on field work activities.
Basic Function:
•Responsible for all QA / QC Civil and architectural related activities. Check and review the plans &specifications for the proper construction & quality implementation at job site, perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings & specs., conduct final inspection with owner’s representative prior to proceed concrete pouring and other succeeding work activities that requires step by step inspection as per inspection and testing procedures (I.T.P.)., render monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of work being implemented by the construction group.
•Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform daily inspection and test of the scope necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed on or off site
•Carry-out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method of statement and inspection test plan.
•Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site en-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including closure of Non-compliance Report.
•Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection request non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance,
Basic Function
Defines the routes for access of all construction of power transmission line projects, reviews the implementation per instruction and verifies the data recorded by surveyors. Examines all documents and maps corresponding to the area near the route of the line in order to identify all existing accesses that may cross or approach to it and subsequently, carry out a preliminary routing of the new accesses to be constructed
II Duties and Responsibilities
•Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with the management.
•Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
•Determines project specifications by studying project design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies, preparing cost estimates.
•Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
•Controls project plan by reviewing design, specification, and schedule changes and recommending actions.
•Controls project costs by approving expenditures, administering contractor’s contract.
•Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations related results as needed.
•Maintains company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
•Sound understanding of project management systems (engineering, quality, construction, HSE, etc.)as well as field construction
•Responsible for liaison with clients and contractors coordinating with various disciplines and permitting agencies and acting as a mentor for junior engineers.
•Review project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives. Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.

•Ensure that construction is performed according to plan and specifications, on time, within a defined budget, and a safe work environment.

•Coordinate closely with project manager and the owner for the needed equipment, materials and supplies, to facilitate accomplishment of a particular projects.
•Coordinate with the foremen and all workers for the instruction and direction of work and also for the daily job activities.

Basic Function
•Review and monitor maintenance tasks, project costs, technical issues, inspection and preparing permits, to ensure that all procedures are being followed in accordance with KAUST-ARAMCO(King Abdullah University of Science and Technology)standards and policies. Reviews Plans for modification, renovation of building on job site and advises changes required for code compliance and proper work technique and safety.

•Conduct inspection to all building facilities and make PRR (problem resolution report) and TR (technical report).
•Managing maintenance issues at King Abdullah University of Science and technology (KAUST).
•Meets with client departments to discuss the proposed maintenance schedule, identify issues, and provide information regarding the implementation of the contract work projects.
•Prepares specifications for difficult renovation problems.
•Discuss with the KAUST building inspector for joint inspection regarding work related problems for immediate work solution.
•Keeps client departments informed on status of contract work projects.
• Participates in the annual condition assessment of buildings to identify deficiencies and needed maintenance.
•Meets with client departments to identify the maintenance and renovation projects that need to be budgeted.
•A preventive maintenance program will have been effectively initiated and implemented.
•Follow-up progress of jobs to ensure efficient flow of work.
•Prepare and follow-up material request papers to the central store department.
•Prepares method of statement and risk assessment for all daily activities. Ensure that all workers are following safety, rules and procedures.
•Estimate project cost and duration.

•A) Civil Inspector
a.1Provide assistance to the Project Engineer/Site Engineer.
•Examining proposed plans and reviewing social and economic effects of a construction project.
•Carry out physical inspection.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure that corrections are made.
•Prepare and review engineering studies by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
•Review plans and make sure that the plans comply with the building regulations.
• Ensuring that responses are complete and in compliance with the contract documents where problems are found, work with Project Engineer to resolve.
•B) QA/QC Inspector

Reports To : Smelter Supervisor

•Responsible for the repair and reconditioning and proper installation of CF (converter furnace) equipment.
•Duties and Responsibilities
•Responsible in overhauling the mouth surface of the furnace, the replacement of bricks, leaks and etc.
•Reinstallation of structural portion of the bldg. such as flooring, beams, columns, railings and etc.
•Design and estimate immediate works such as foundations, drainage system, roofing’s, gutters and etc.
•Response emergency call-in on any emergency activities especially shutdown.
•Other works related to maintenance activities that may deem necessary as assigned by the supervisor.
•Work Relationship
•Coordinate closely with the smelter maintenance supervisor for instruction and direction of work.
•Coordinate with welders, expediters, pipefitters, brick layers and erectors regarding job activities.
•Working Conditions
•On call-in basis as scheduled by smelter maintenance supervisor.
• Spend most of the time on field work/repair activities.

•To complete engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. The manager supervises all development and implementation of a project. He or she also oversees facility upgrades and is actively involved in any other project-related work.
