The main duties handled by me asthe Head of Finance are asfollows
·Preparation of annual budgetsforthe entire company and forthe Branch office.
·Preparation of Management Accounts on Quarterly basis.
·Preparation of various Management reports then and there.
·Preparation of Monthly Management Reporting package whichincludes Financial Statements and other operationalresults. Supervision ofthe timely data entry to the System Accounting Software.
·Preparation of Financial andOperational Budgetsfor different divisions and for the entire Entity.
·ManagingWorking Capital with close supervision ofBanking activities, Debtors collection, suppliers settlements and stock controlling.
·Supervising Internal Audit verifications carried out by the internal staff members, in the area of Purchases, Cash handling, Stock handling, Safeguarding Fixed Assets, etc.
·Ensure compliance in Company Secretarial matters, Application of Accounting Standards, other compliances with regulatory authorities.(Central Bank, Labor Ministry, Export development Board, Sri Lanka Standard Institution, etc.)
·Handling alltaxmatters of the Company including Income Tax, Value added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax(WHT), Turnover Tax, etc.
·Managing all Finance related Administrative activities while interacting with other departmentssuch as Shipping, Marketing, Transport, Human Resources, etc PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
