-Synthesis and Fabrication of Ultra-Low Power Metal Oxide Memristors (Memory-Resistors) for Gamma and X-rays Radiation detection
- Developed optimized high power density composite cathodes for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) application via a facile and cost-effective fabrication recipe and using green non-toxic renewable materials. - Conducted analytical studies on materials characterization using EDX, HRSEM, XRD, TGA, Four-point probe measurements, porosity/density measurements, surface roughness measurements and finally admittance/absorbance/reflectance measurements. - Regularly ran electrochemical tests such as corrosion resistance, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and AC electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). - Prepared budget proposals, feasibility reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses and participated in technical seminars and workshops. - Practiced being a Teaching Assistant for graduate-level courses, prepared assignments, tutorials projects and exams.
- An Experimentally Improved Graphene–Based Thermoelectric Generator (TEG): Using Graphene films to harvest human-body temperature and convert it to low power to operate a biomedical device via a cost effective fabrication process. - Wi-Fi Data Acquisition System: To transmit signals wirelessly through infrastructure and Ad- Hoc Wi-Fi modules. - Robo-Goalkeeper (IEEE CDP 2012): Designed and built a Goalkeeper Robot utilizing machine vision, openCV, and Parallax robot kit. - Logic systems: Parking Lot Counter using Verilog, Nexys2 FPGA and external sensors. - Wireless Remote- Controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV): Design for a one-kilogram-weight remote-controlled airplane, AIAA, Design, Build and Fly competition, USA, Arizona State.
