Role: Foreign Procurement section head reporting to commercial manager.
Responsibilities:
* Conceptualising on procurement planning and scheduling of the plant requirements on spare parts of
Mechanical, Electrical & Capex equipment’s and its associated services.
* Developing annual corporate procurement plan and drafting procurement budget.
* Secured critical purchase of materials for plant operational & commissioning requirements.
* Identify, Evaluate and develop multiple vendors.
* Procurement data management through SAP R/3 on procured goods on their costs, inventories, and
supplier’s effectiveness.
* Coordination with operations on the procurement requirements, setting department objectives and
determining KPI’s for effectiveness.
* Delegate tasks and supervise the work of procurement planning & purchasing specialist across the
departments.
* Review, advise, suggest and approve PO’s and service contracts created.
* Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible

Role: Senior Procurement Engineer reporting to commercial manager.
Responsibilities:
* Conceptualising on procurement planning and scheduling of the plant operations requirements from ( Oils
, Greases, Refractories, Furnaces Consumables, WTP Chemicals, Liquid Gases) for both Operating Plants
SMP1, SMP2, RM1, RM2, DRP, Oxygen Plant, Logistics and Lime Plant .
* Handling Raw materials, Refractories, chemicals, and lubricants (local & foreign) purchase orders,
establishing contracts and scheduling agreement in MACC.
* Assist for material code creation and classification for establishing materials management.
* Defining procurement cycle on A, B & C class materials, raw materials, spare parts, chemicals & lubricants
in coordination with system teams in MACC.
* In depth knowledge of chemical hazards and potential risk to health and environment.
* Handling maintenance long term contracts (technical discussions, negotiations, chemical supplying, services
processing)
* Handling short term & long-term procurement Contracts on Refractories, Lubricants, WTP Chemicals,
Consumables, Liquid Gases.
* Released PO and contracts worth of 50m USD over a period of 3 years on domestic vendors.
* Planning delivery timetables and ensuring stores have enough inventories on vital consumables for
production.
* Proactively identifying areas of procurement delays and taking steps to rectify the same.
* Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce storage place and time and
optimize resources for effective cost utilization.
* Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss
production forecasts or changes.
* Developed new and existing vendors and assessed the suitability of prospective new vendors
