- Work in the entertainment industry and use their creative flair to make film, television and theatre productions look the way they do. Their main responsibility is to develop a complete visual framework for the production they’re working on. They read the script and consult with the director and producer to make sure the visual texture of the production matches their creative vision.

Once the design concept has been finalised, the production designer creates thematic designs for sets, props, camera and lighting angles, costumes, locations, special effects, graphics and other technical requirements.

The next step is to hire a dedicated team of production specialists (i.e. designers, equipment handlers and a construction crew) to help the creative ideas materialise into a tangible production environment. These guys are also responsible for coordinating costume designers, make-up artists, special effects teams and camera, studio, lighting and sound directors.

Responsible for monitoring daily production work and managing production teams. They track costs and manage the design budget, create scale drawings and models for reference purposes and manage the overall production activity during filming, or indeed throughout the performance.

- known as stage designers and may concentrate on this area alone, while those working in film and television may switch across both media or specialise in one or the other.

The majority is to work independently, but also aim to develop long-term relationships with particular directors or production houses.

-Design and creates different types of furniture. Each piece of furniture that a furniture designer creates must serve a few different purposes. First of all, it must be functional. It must also be practical, comfortable, and attractive.

- Starts with a basic concept, or idea.
- create a drawing of this idea using traditional and modern methods.
- Sketch their designs on paper first, for instance. Computer software can then be used to create a more intricate and detailed design.

The computer created design will often include all different aspects of a furniture design, including how the piece is put together and what materials are used to make it. Most furniture is made from a combination of wood and metal. Some furniture, such as couches and chairs, will also usually be covered with material, which should be soft and comfortable as well as attractive.

Once I finishe a design, he will then usually create an original prototype of the piece.

-Simply create furniture designs that are meant to be mass produced by large furniture manufacturers.

- Work closely with individuals to create custom pieces of furniture.
