• Review all the data related to BCM documentaon and risk informaon from all business units in Egypt & UAE branches.
• Review all regular test reports of all BC plans, DR plans, ER plans and ensure correcve acon plan took place.
• Ensure crisis management plan CMP is up-to-date with all relevant contacts needed and a call tree test took place.
• Ensure all personnel with specific business connuity responsibilies are well trained to fulfil their assigned responsibilies.
• Ensure all employees maintain their familiarity with business connuity plans.
• Review and approve documented business connuity plan of vendors to verify the bank's higher risk vendors have plans in place to suficiently recover the contracted services within the approved RTO.
• Ensure the coordinaon of resolving gaps and implementaon of idenfied plan improvement.
• Parcipate and recommend improvements to policies, processes and procedures and manage their implementaon to ensure all relevant legislave/procedural requirements are fulfilled.
• Supervise the acvies and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an eficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulaons, CBUAE regulaons banking laws, AML regulaons and internal AAIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain AAIB's sound legal posion and migate any potenal risks.
• Ensure Idenfying and implemenng recovery operaons and methods to allow the organizaon to funcon at limited or paral capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
• Develops and provides staf training on risk management and disaster recovery.
• Works with health, safety, and security staf to align the organizaons emergency response plan with established best pracces and community standards.
• Creates and facilitates pracce drills for plan execuon.
• Working with IT to ensure recovery plans for crical systems and applicaons are consistent with the developed business connuity plans and ensure business resilience in case of system or applicaon update.
• Responding with correcve acons resulng from the plans exercising, operaonal risk events.
